Our clothing line celebrates the traditional art of hand printing, while our garments are stitched by women that belong to Bujra, a neighbouring village. This helps create an income opportunity for housewives living in the village along with a chance to portray their creative talent. In recent years, even though the census data reflects that the literacy rate for women is on the rise, very few women are actually a part of the city’s workforce. Social stigmas and communal pressures often prevent women from engaging in work opportunities beyond their neighbourhood.
